Oscar, a young man reluctantly summoned by his mother, visits Walter, a terminally ill family friend who has asked to see him before he dies. What begins as an awkward but sincere attempt at comfort turns when Walter reveals he has never come out, or been intimate, with another man, and sees Oscar as his last chance to do so. Caught between compassion and discomfort, Oscar must decide how far he is willing to go to ease someone else’s regrets.
